I upgraded my Netgear R6400 with:

First thing I wanted to do is change my SSID and security level, however I keep running into the same situation:
The admin interface stops working. The wireless connection remains working and I can get Internet through it, but the admin interface at 192.168.1.1 keeps returning ERR_CONNECTION_RESET

This happens when:
1) I change the SSID and click Save
2) I change the SSID and click Apply changes
3) I simply browse around the tabs

If I restart the router, the admin interface does resume working, but then quickly disappears again. Interestingly, even though first thing I did was set a user/password after router reset the interface doesn't ask me to fill that out..

Motivation for using dd-wrt on Netgear is to enable NordVPN

Couldn't resolve this on MacOS / Chrome
But it seems to work stable on Win10 / Chrome
