Internet connection not available

Gday

I hope this is an easy question.

I have a D-Link DIR 890L that has v3.0-r40559 running fine. My internet modem is a HG658 provided by the internet company.

I would like to have the D-Link operate as a separate network so I can restrict access (eg. kids xbox internet out with lights out).

In the 'Basic Setup' page I have it as 'Auto Config - DHCP' and it is getting a WAN IP from the modem DHCP (192.168.1.10) however it is not passing internet through to the wireless or LAN ports on the D-Link.

Ideally it would be something like 'parents network' 192.168.1.x from HG658 and 'kids network' from D-Link 10.10.10.x

Could you please point me in the right direction?

Setup -> Basic Setup page. What's the router local IP address under network configuration? It has to be something in another subnet besides 192.168.1.x .... or it won't connect.
