Did anything ever come out of this? I need to upgrade an older WRT54G to an N unit and was looking at the WRT310N.

are u sure its bricked? dont think ist bricked...is wlan working? did you check access via wan port?

i have already checked the wiki info via jtag. will i need to do any soldering in order for it to work

the 12 pin header is jtag. are you able to get us the cfe/nvram?

i im the process of making this happen, however i have to buy soldering supplies. i will need all the instructions that i can get regarding this project as i do not have any experience with jtagging and/or soldering, but i do have a friend who knows soldering. i will keep everyone posted as my progress goes... any comments sash or eko?

need help on how to setup the soldering guide

which way/side will the pins need to be soldered(see picture)

how do i begin as to collecting the data successfully, please be specific

hi,

solder the pins to the 12 pin header to the upper side of the board.

get the jtag v2 utillitiy from tornado

sash or tornado i need help in running the software. i am a total newbie at this i have downloaded tornados tjtag 2.0, but i don't know where to go from there. i have read the instructions and don't know how to run the software, please help. im running a windows based pc...

ok

start the gvio.sys as service

open the command line
go to the jtag folder
and run tjtagv2 -backup:cfe

and see whats happening

ok i ave started it as a service. i have saved the folder as jtag in my local drive c:

this is the location c:jtag

how do i type the location of the folder in order to run it via command
