I just recently flashed my WRT54GS v6 router with ddwrt, follow this guide:
http://dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Linksys_WRT54GS_v5.0_%26_5.1_%26_6.0

However, after finishing all the steps, when I attempt to log into the router's page, it takes me to a page saying that the default username and password are not safe and I should change them.

Which I try to do.

And it won't ever change.

the "change password" button just stays at "changing password" for an extended time.

Has anyone else encountered a similar error and is able to assist? I'd sincerely appreciate any and all guidance.

Nevermind, I tried doing it in chrome instead of IE, and it worked.

Sorry for anyone still having this issue

Clear your browser cache or use another browser or computer. This happened to me also, but all other pages loaded fine after.
