Remeber, these little WAP54G's don't have much Flash nor RAM so they can't handle a bigger bin. After loading the micro bin and turning off all the things that aren't needed, I end up with only 5-6% free memory.
Has anyone else tried the DD-WRT v24 RC6.2 bins? What was your result?
^ Open it up and look for jtag 12 pin port.
Depending on your version of the WAP54G.
WAP54G V1.0 there are at least 2 different v1.0 boards, one with a JTAG , other without it.
WAP54G v1.1 does not have jtag port.
Those with the jtag port WAP54G v2.0 V3.0 v3.1 use the standard Jtag cable for Linksys routers.
Wow, that's a real bummer. I see a J25 label near what appears to be a JTAG port on the circuit board, could that it or is this something else? Let me know if I need to provide a picture.

Yes...post a pic...there were 2 different mobo's for the V1.1....one with ....one without.

No way to solder JTAG header pins onto the board? So I'm completely out of luck with these 2 WAP54G's & they are as good as trash?
You can certainly try to find the JTAG contact points...I was unsuccessful. I played with one for about 6 hours without luck.
Give it a try...if you find them...post your finding....you'll be a hero to many.
Remove the NIC card...under there were several 4.7K ohm chip resistors....see if you can figure out the combination. (generally the 4.7K's are connected to JTAG ports....but not always)
