Also got a V9 of TL-WR841N from Amazon. I am also waiting for the matching firmware of dd-wrt to come out. Just want to add to the masses, so 'they' know we're waiting. I appreciate all the hard work!!!

I too would like to request this. Unfortunately, I received a V9 after purchasing from Amazon.

Does somebody know if support of dd-wrt for TP-Link TL-WR841N(D) V9.x is planned at all?

Maybe there is already a expected release date?

got a WR-841N from amazon yesterday; expected 8.x but was a V9.
I hope that there'll be a dd-wrt version soon!

Like many others, I ordered this device with the expectation of it being dd-wrt, but with the new v9 version, had no such luck.

Given this is the current version of the #1 most popular wireless router on Amazon, I'd imagine it won't be long until someone looks into this one.

I've flased it on a WR841N v9 (not the D version) and it works there Very Happy

i have 3 of these routers installed successfully. My problem is all 3 of them disconnects from WAN after an hour or 2. it will work again after pressing the on/off button. they are all used to stream content. it was doing the same with TP-LINK firmware. is anyone else having this problem? where can i find a log to see what the problem is?
