The link to v3 isn't working for me. Total newbie. Sorry. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious. Thanks

Hi I've been trying theese links for a few days now but none are working. I have a Linksys e2500 v3 that I need the firmware for. I tried ftp://ftp.basmaf.com/Fractal_Builds/E2500-V3/dd-wrt.v24-23569_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini-e2500V3.bin
but nothing.
Can someone please provide the mini build so I can do an initial flash.

Thanks

It should be noted that the link provided is not working as written.

ftp://basmaf.com/Fractal_Builds/E2500-V3/dd-wrt.v24-23569_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini-e2500V3.bin is a working link as of 4/7/14 0935 UTC.

Hi thanks. I figured it out. I was flashing this router from my Linux box (Ubuntu), and it was timing out.or just failing for some reason. I switched to my Windows OS and the flash worked fine. I was able to flash Shibby's tomato FW on it but switched to the dd-wrt mega build that was recommended in this forum. The tomato firmware wasn't as straightforward to navigate as the dd-wrt build.

Thanks again

Just got a new router E2500 v3. Would like to change to DD-WRT. From the discussion above do I need to first "upgrade" to Fractal's mini build then upgrade to K3, or can I go straight to K3?
It seems by what some have said that going straight to K3 doesn't necessarily work because of some features. If I miss understood I am sorry. Thank you.

I am having a hard time. I have a new Linksys E2500v3.
Also am running Win 7 Pro (could be a major factor?)
I am trying to install DD-WRT. What I have done so far:
1. 30/30/30
2.Go to Firmware upgrade to upgrade to dd-wrt.v24-21061_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini-e2500.bin. Fail!
3. Upgraded to latest Linksys firmware. Succeed.
4. Try upgrade to dd-wrt. Failed.
5. Download TFTPUtil and TFTPD64.
6. Change settings to include TFTP try installing again Failed.
7 Changed settings to simple TCP/IP. Tried again. Failed.
8 If you at first do not succeed try try again. Including pinging to get 1st ping. All Failed.
Any other solutions for Win 7?
Think I may try Installing Linux and see if that will help.

Start reading from the first post on page 1. Pay special attention to what Fractal says.

If you had read (then maybe I was not clear enough).
I tried flashing from webgui It did not work (Tried with FF, Chrome and IE).
I tried using TFTP. Using TFTPD32 and TFTPUtil both said they uploaded, but still nothing happened Urgo. Failed.
I am still stuck with factory build (upgraded to latest edition).
From the searches I have been doing I believe it might have to do with Win 7, but I can not seem to find a way around it using the uploading methods that I have found so far.
At the top all the issues mentioned were what bin to use and what to do after you got it working. I have not been able to got it on the router in the first place.

I did read. You said you tried to flash a mini-e2500.bin
That's for a v1.
The link I gave you says mini-e2500v3.bin
See the difference?

My mistake. I was sure that was the link I connected to when I downloaded it a couple of days ago. Have no clue how I go hold of the other one. It must have been in my suffering and got hold of the wrong one. Again I true an sorry.
