I know the Atheros Chipsets are not made for VLAN. But i kinda like the company and their products. My question is if there is a way to use VLANs over LAN? I use TP-Link TL-WR1043ND v2 with version 25697 and std build from dd-wrt FTP.

I already tested and use VLAN with WLAN/Wifi which is working well. But i cannot bring VLAN LAN Tagging to work. I know I can't change Port1,2,3,4 to be on different networks. But does the chip support tagged packets? So i differ the network with a VLAN-able switch before getting to the router and so the router only has to bridge/route the packages.

Would this be possible? How to enable VLAN Tagging and configure it correctly?

VLAN ID1 should be LAN. VLAN ID2 should be DMZ.
