yes, but that article talks about 54b, not 54g, does the impact change ? It was way over my head, I tried to read and digest it, I need someone that knows more than me to give a short version in lay terms please....
also, bluetooth Coexistant has 3 options, disabled, enabled and preemptive which one to use and when ? thats what what is still not clear after reading the article.
Im also curious about this answer.
I have two PCs with each having a bluetooth USB dongle, active and can be found by bluetooth devices like mobile phones. However, i rarely transmit anything over bluetooth, just ocassionally from my phone when I need to transfer picture to the PC.
So, does these bluetooth radio waves coexist with WLAN only when actually having some kind of bluetooth connection between devices active, or is it enough just having the dongles plugged in and active?
I read abit about this too.. It sounds like IF the Wifi data packets drop to the similar range of the BT... data could get messed up over the air.
So one of the info sites I saw said this would sacrifice some of the routers range in order to prevent it from dropping data?
Im leaving it at enbaled for now, cant hurt atm. But I wouldnt mind hearing more about this too. _________________ ~Battlez-avec la Mystique?~

Question is, having it enabled, does it take from the free memory? _________________ ~Battlez-avec la Mystique?~

ok, I'm not having issues with wifi dropping but I have problems with bluetooth transfers (big big transfers), with this enabled, the problem has been solved.

Well...now you know. Every environment is just a little different...what works for one person may not work for another.
I am glad you found a solution and posted it back here.
We all benefit from other's experiences.
thanx....

Thanks for the info, it is good to know just in case.
Anyone know what the third option means then? Is it the same as some kind of "auto" in which it won't try to be friendly with the BT unless it detects some kind of trouble?
