OK, looks like switch driver makes a problem,
This build does not load it on boot, let's see how far it goes without it.
Then we can try with Linksys's driver from sourcecode.

It'll reboot instantly if I load bcm57xxlsys. Wireless is operational, if you manually start it because it's eth0 not eth1. The switch is completely unconfigured as indicated by all the lights being on.

ok, do you want a build with Linksys's driver and wireless eth0 ?
But i cen see in nvram you've sent wl0_ifname=eth1, serial log says eth0, hmm.

The serial log shows it as eth0 because it's not finding the lan/wan ethernet. Wireless is the only device it can find, so it's eth0. If you mean the linksys 57xx/robo driver, then sure; I'll test it when I'm free.

heh, lots of people waiting in eager anticipation for you Wink in fact my router is sitting here without the covers but plugged in, watching this thread constantly and waiting for firmware to flash and try... sad, maybe, but let's speed up the process here a bit. 1 guy from USA and 1 from EU trying to collaborate.. i mean we get a mere 1 step closer per day due to time differences.. Sad I'd love to help but i dont have teh skills atm ;/ heh

Only if you'll pay my ridiculous salary. And until my MAX3232's show up, you don't want to see the rig I have setup to talk to a 3.3V digital serial port. :-)

He uses Yahoo! I use Google Talk (maybe once a year.) Or IRC, but people aren't that old school. But that doesn't really help when we aren't generally awake at the same time.

Wireless functions but ethernet doesn't load:
Code:
WRT350N GPIO Init
5397 switch GPIO-Reset
VFS: Mounted root (squashfs filesystem) readonly.
Booting Device:Linksys WRT300N v1.1
eth0: No such device
insmod: unresolved symbol bcm_robo_detach
insmod: unresolved symbol bcm_robo_enable_switch
insmod: unresolved symbol bcm_robo_enable_device
insmod: unresolved symbol bcm_robo_config_vlan
insmod: unresolved symbol bcm_robo_attach
PCI: Setting latency timer of device 01:01.0 to 64
PCI: Enabling device 01:01.0 (0004 -> 0006)
eth0: Broadcom BCM4321 802.11 Wireless Controller 4.80.56.0

(both versions)

switch-robo, or at least parts of it, are needed, but it won't load unless it finds a robo.

Respond to pings for tftp duration then same symptoms as before - but at least there's tftp now so the basics of the ethernet drivers must be working.
