Hello.

I recently bought myself a new USB dongle (TL-WDN3200) so I will be able to connect to the 5GHz bandwidth of my wireless router Linksys E4200v1.

I have installed latest version of dd-wrt on it and it works quite well. 2.4GHz gives me good speed and good connection. However, the same cannot be said with the 5GHz. The SNR is very low compared to the others. I can also say that there are no other 5GHz networks in my environment. According to InSSIDer, I'm the only one with 5GHz capability.

I have provided some pictures of some settings which might be of value if there is anything wrong on my settings.

I appreciate any help at all.

The one marked with RED color is my 5GHz connection. The rest are laptops, cellphones etc...

5GHz travels shorter and degrades quicker when passing through objects.

You'll only get a high SNR if you're less than ~6ft away.

Seems normal.
