Ipkg-opt can only be used for packages from ipkg.nslu2-linux.org repository! Other (OpenWRT) packages should not be installed with ipkg-opt. Use standard /bin/ipkg.sh installation method (not shure if it will work).

Hi
I've installed man - 1.6f-1 and xinetd - 2.3.14-8 from the Optware feed. But these two packages still need to give lib path /opt/lib otherwise will have
can't resolve symbol '__ctype_b_loc'
error.
Should lib path /opt/lib be built into Optware packages?

Edit: For xinetd, you can set preload lib in the S10xinetd

put this line:
export LD_PRELOAD = /opt/lib

hey
i have been trying to get the ddwrt router signature to work without any luck. i was hoping someone could give me some help.

i did the SD mod on my wrt54gs v2.1 and im running php-thttpd web server. i have the php code for the signature and configured it to access both of my routers internal ip. then i placed it on the www folder that webserver accesses. the file is index.php and its placed on a subfolder called sig.php.

when i go to webserver/sig.php i only get a blank screen and the signature wont show. i also tried with a free hosting (x10hosting.com) and it does work (http://moreins.x10hosting.com/sig.png).

i did make sure php was working on my webserver and it does since the php-ping code from theworldsend.com does work.
can anyone give me some help on this please?

how can i make sure php works ok on this webserver? or, is there any way to modify php settings of the webserver im running??

EDIT: after playing for some time with the php.ini, i believe im missing a image generation library called gd.so. i have tried to look for it but i cant find this specific file. how do i install this library?
thanks
thanks!

sorry for the double post.
i just figured it out. the solution to my problem was much easier than i though...i was dying when looking for gd.so.
i just went back to the opt list and installed php-gd. then when to /opt/lib/ and looked for libgd.so and copied it to /opt/lib/php/extensions.
after that, i configured php.ini and added

extension=libgd.so

this let the php server to generate png images out of a php file.
im a complete newbie on this (this is why i look so suprised)..
ill post my results here later! Very Happy
