I think i have a version 5 because if i look on the bottom it says v5. Does that mean im sqrewed for the upgrade. When i try to do the mini upraded it doesnt let me. Any info would help thanks.
If you still can, return that piece of crap to the store!
Get one of the Buffalo routers that are supported, BrainSlayer always advises to buy those.
If you cannot get rid of it... well, then the best way to get any value out of it is most certainly to go the distance and flash dd-wrt onto it with the use of a jtag cable. _________________ If you use DD-WRT, you HAVE to make a donation! Another option, which is what I did......sell the v.5 on ebay at a slight loss (I think I got $40 for mine) and use the money to buy either a Buffalo as suggested above, or an earlier version of a Linksys, either new or used, on ebay. Or.....you can buy a Linksys WRT54GL. The GL is a rebranded v.4 and runs on Linux. I happen to have a brand new GL, already flashed with DD-WRT, that I'll be putting on ebay shortly. If I can be of assistance, lemme know!! Good luck! _________________ Clear 4G Wimax.
