I'm back to the latest v23 sp2 mcro generic edition not the special edition.
I bought it and it's completely buggy for WRT54G v1.0 routers it's also really unstable.

1.No Gui after flash tried to flash over 6 times and still no go.
2.QOS and the so called bandwith per user is a joke because it does not work.

Did I mention its completely unstable I cross my fingers every time I change a settings because it can lock up.
I have a 15/10 Mbps dedicated connection and what I'm trying to get to work is limiting bandwdith to my Access points.

I have 10 AP and I want to use 64/64kbps Up and down
and then I have a vonage device witch I want to have absolute priority no matter what.
I want the Vonage device to always have 384/384kbps so that no matter how much of my bandwidth is being consumed by my servers my vonage device always has it's full 384/384kbps speed. 384/384kbps has enough overhead bandwidth for two vonage lines
using the highest quality g711 codec.

Do you reset the router before and after flashing?
That order which is in the manual wiki?

we don't recite quotes here.

We also don't say "Thanks for nothing" here. There are other things I could have said, but they would have been just as offensive and demeaning as "Thanks for nothing". So, I'll leave it at what I wrote.

I don't see why you where offensive when I was not!

I really mean thanks for nothing because I definitely did not get what I paid for.
I don't really care since I already told them it they can keep the money as a donation but what I really wanted was a version that actually does what it says.

Sadly, you miss the point.

"Thanks for nothing" is offensive. It attempts to make less of the work of another, in an attempt to strengthen your position.

It attempts to offend us all, as we have chosen to use that which you consider "nothing".

I am just a humblepro, but I have used the firmware professionally for several years. Should I think, "How foolish I must be, for I rely upon nothing." And what of my clients? Should I let them know that I have been relying upon nothing, that they are fools for relying on me? And the hundreds of posts that I have written...should I edit them all, adding the words "Fool Alert" so that future readers shall know that they are reading something from someone so stupid that he uses nothing?

fantastikpro, I thank you for the life lesson, for allowing me to see paths I should not take.
