Sorry for the stupid n00b question - I know this should be obvious but I'm not at all familiar with proxy_arp so I thought I'd ask:

I have a WRT54G that I was using as a wireless bridge (running DD-WRT, of course), and I followed the tutorial at http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.aspx?catid=36&threadid=1513386. One of the steps was to use proxy_arp to make boxes behind the bridge pingable/accessible by other boxes in the network:

echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf/`route | grep default | awk '{print $NF}'`/proxy_arp"

I'm not using it as a bridge anymore and I'd like to turn it back into a WAP - how can I reset this? Will a full hardware reset to factory settings take care of it?

TIA for any help, and thanks for providing this great firmware!

EDIT: I think I just discovered the (obvious) answer... would 'echo 0' on the same command shut off proxy arp?
