Hi All,

I have a Asus RT-N66U running dd-wrt version DD-WRT v3.0-r42617 big (03/05/20).

When i reboot the router I can connect via the browser for a short period and then (at some point) I can't connect at all via browser (ping works) and need to connect via telnet and force a reboot. Has anyone seen this? Feels like a service or something on the router is stopping/dying, or something.

Any helps is appreciated.

Thank you!

Under Cron on the Administration page, add the following line.

Code:
*/60 * * * * root restart httpd

That seemed to fix the issue for me on my RT-AC56U.

I'm running into the same issue with my D-Link DIR-880L. I'll try dpp3530 trick to see if it works.

You shouldn't be having ANY issues with 42617 accessing the webUI whatsoever. Is this from wi-fi or wired ethernet? Which browser? Are you using a separate browser to access the webUI or the same browser for everything?
