Hi

Im trying to configure a virtual wireless network on its own subnet. My router network is 192.168.1.0/24 and the virtual network should be 192.168.2.0/24. The two networks should talk together.

I have added an virtual interface to the wireless, created a bridge, added the virtual wl0.1 interface to the bridge and added DHCPd on the bridge.

I can connect to the second wireless network, but Im not getting any IP. When I set the IP manually I cannot connect to internet or the other network.

Another thing. With the limiting HTB class rules set on a whole subnet. Will this limit each client to the rate or the whole subnet? I need to set max 7000kbit on each client. But I dont know the amount of clients, and i asume the total rate cannot be higher than the parent?

I have checked that dnsmasq is enabled in the settings.

Maybe I need som iptables rules for the networks to talk to each other, but the DHCP does not work either.

Can anyone help me?

Have you read this? http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Multiple_WLANs
It provides the commands to get your connection going. An understanding of what the scripts mean is important, as some details may need to be changed to suit your setup. As for dhcp, did you reboot? What build are you on? If its old, update, but read through build threads to make sure you aren't flashing into more problems or even a brick.
