I can confirm that K3x_mega.bin will not flash on my WNR3500L. Tried web-update & flash started then the unit rebooted with build 22000.

Update: delete this post--it seems that I can't flash any mega.bin--only .bins below 7000kb...so I can't help test on this.

Router: Netgear WNDR4300 v4
Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (07/24/13) std - build 22118

I am not an expert but I found what can be a problem, I was note able to connect it to VPN HideMyAss VPN servers so far.

The same precess was followed to WRT54G v4 and it is working fine.

Any ideas?

Router: f7d7301
Build: 22118 K26 big

No problems upgrading. Selected reset to defaults.

.-Wireless not broadcasting when channel set to auto. With fixed channel, the virtual SSID is broadcasted but the physical doesn't
.-Solved the SIP proxy local registration 401 issue I found on 18777 and 21061
.-Wiviz survey not working, as in all the latest builds (I recall was working on 15962)
.-Funny USB page on Chrome (see bellow). In IE, enable core USB is only shown once

Enable Syslog and show your /var/log/messages.

From what I recall the VPN won't try to start (which is your case) if it sees an error in the additional config field. In my case I was seeing what appears to be a race condition between the moment the user.conf is created in the router startup script and the time OpenVPN looks for the username/password in user.conf. In my case I removed the sole IP I had set in the Policy Based Routing and this somehow helped the timing and allowed OpenVPN to see the file in time and boot.

Also, try to save your config once the VPN starts because in my case the iptables rule priority got changed (after several starts and stops of the service) so that the VPN was running but none of the traffic was being routed to it because the first rule stated that all traffic went out to vlan2 rather than tun1. Reboots didn't help so I did a reset to defaults and reloaded the config and, somehow, the rules came back in the proper order and the all traffic went out the VPN.

I'm also seeing the same strange behavior on FF although I'm thinking I just don't understand the intent of the page. There are 2 USB ports on the Asus RT-N66U but the options on the ports are different and somehow clicking on a radio button removes that option from the other port. Inserting a USB drive ends up showing drive info in both windows.

Tried dd-wrt.v24-22118_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini-nv64k.bin on a Linksys E1500.

-Wifi does not work unless you click apply on the wireless settings page.

-Virtual Wireless Interface does not work at all. It doesn't even show on the bridging table.

Router: Buffalo WZR-1750DHP
ISP: Comcast
Firmware: Buffalo stock (2.03) to DD-WRT 22118, WZR-1750DHP build (using factory-to-dd-wrt.bin)
Status: Currently bricked.

Initial flash plus reset was fine. Started programming in config, including changing router IP then hit "Reboot Router" on the Management page and all settings were lost; seemed more like a factory reset than a reboot.

Tried programming in just router name and SSID, save settings, and reboot under management page - all fine. More configs, including changing router IP, reboot under management page - router now bricked; buffalo logo is white and flashing red twice. Not sure if trying to change the router IP is significant, but all of this happened while trying to reboot the router.

30/30/30 reset ineffective, not receiving DHCP from the unit.

I will come back to DD-WRT when it can keep up again or you offer a test build.

If you have a nv64k CFE, use this build: http://desipro.de/ddwrt/K26/r21661/kingkong-nv64k-RT-N66U-broadcom.trx

Then add to startup script:
Code:
#!/bin/sh
echo 262144 > /proc/sys/net/core/rmem_max
echo 262144 > /proc/sys/net/core/wmem_max
echo "4096 16384 262144" > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_wmem
echo "4096 87380 262144" > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_rmem
echo 1000 > /proc/sys/net/core/netdev_max_backlog

Set TCP Congestion control to Westwood, apply it, wait a minute and reboot.

DD-WRT uses NAT, while stock firmware uses Fast-NAT, this explains the difference in speed. However, if you need functions like miniDLNA, OpenVPN, ssh server, privoxy proxy, OTRW2 services (like pixelserv, for adds and malware blocking) and so on, choose DD-WRT.

Router: WNDR4000
Previous build: 19342 big

I tried the big and versions of 22118 and WiFi completely did not work (no signal detected using Wifi Analyser on Android, nor MacAir 2011, for G and N)

dd-wrt.v24-22118_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv64k.bin (no WiFi)
dd-wrt.v24-22118_NEWD-2_K2.6_big-nv64k.bin (no WiFi)

No amount of resetting to defaults and 30/30/30 resets did anything to enable the WiFi. Nor disabling/enabling radio on wl0/wl1, nor changing SSID on/off, nor WiFi mode.

Flashing to mega 21676 made WiFi work correctly

dd-wrt.v24-21676_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv64k.bin (WiFi works!)

I recently sought to upgrade to dd-wrt.v24-22118_NEWD-2_K2.6_big-nv60k. When I tried to remount my external hard drive with OTRW take 2 installed, the build incorrectly identified the ext3 partitions as ext4 and refused to mount the optware partition to /opt and the data partition to /mnt.

Have others seen this issue with 22118? Currently running Eko's dd-wrt.v24-17084_NEWD-2_K2.6_big-nv60k, which was just prior to automount problems cropping up in that development stream.

What is the latest stable build that people are running on their E3000 and are you using OTRW and OpenVPN without issue?

Running dd-wrt.v24-22118_NEWD-2_K3.x_mega-e3000.bin

No OTRW (doesn't work in K3.x builds anyway)
No OpenVPN (never use it / need it)

Up 6 days with wireless results below (I reboot every Sunday @ 4AM)

My primary need is good stable wireless - this build is awesome for that

Received (RX)1479592 OK, no error
Transmitted (TX)2561236 OK, no error
