Hi, today I tried upgrading my bullet 2 from 17201 to 21676, by GUI / tftp, none of these options were working. It did proceed with the upgrade but after remained blocked, rebooting and unable to have a connection either by wire or wifi.

I also tried using the 21286, same issue. The router is registered at dd-wrt and using the keys. I reflashed the 17201, and I was able to connect by wire and wifi.

Any idea what might be wrong ? I suppose it might be related to the license keys as if I remember right the keys were changed at a point by DD-WRT and we had to get new keys (not done on this router, still the old normal ones).

Any help is welcome.

PS: I did follow the sticky on upgrade dd-wrt at the beginning of the forum.

Some new information. I tried upgrading to 18024, which should be working, but unfortunately, same issue. It was impossible to have the router using it.

I tried proceeding with "reset router to defaults" when upgrading. No way. Same issue with tftp upgrading. And finally I reinstalled the 17201, put back the settings, and running now...

I have no clue what might be the issue with the firmwares. Any comment welcome.

Hi everyone ! Finally found a workaround. I did an NVRAM ERASE, NVRAM COMMIT through Telnet, rebooted. Then in recovery mode installed the 17967, and from it the 20119.

It seems something remained in memory.
