Is there a command I can run to see if the wan port is bad? I can still use the router by assigning one of the lan ports to wan but I was curious if there is a way to check.

Plug it into a lan port on your other router and see if it gets an ip.

Check the activity lights also.

Already did that. The ports don't have any led indicators.
