Got it. Problem was that I had formatted my thumb drive with the label "Optware" on the first partition. Therefore, with the new Automount code, it automatically mounted sda1 to /opt. Which I think is faster, just need to sort through the code and adjust it for that. I'll use it this way because it's working again and I'm gonna leave it at that.
