I got scolded for once adding these as attachments bet they are so long that if I copy and paste them, they take up the whole page.

Want me to change it?

First, I don't know how to do that.
Second, I already put the router back together. Lol

How do you intend to write the cfe you are asking for?
I don't know of any cheap jtag utility for debricking this router, only very expensive professional ones.

I'm going to donate an EA6300 to this project. I'm not sure how the process works, but I have a 6300 (actually the FCC label says its a 6400?) but I really need this router to not suck anymore. I use OpenVPN a lot and it would be helpful to have support at the router level instead of on my laptop

Well as you can see in the EA6700/EA6900 threads even with a unit BS has there are a few problems that are now showing up. This is a combination of problems. Only BS had a unit and wiped something before he noticed that there is important data stored at a certain place in flash. This will need a workaround. The thing is, it could be actually differ between these units, just like on the 3 netgears I ported. Thus without examining a unit one might not catch all problems and miss something that can workout for a few boots and later on cause trouble. The new units aren't as easy as the previous mipsel ones.
