Hi, I have bought this useless range extender and it keeps dropping connections n all. And it takes forever to complete the IP allotment phase for client devices. Would like to try out WRT on the device but it seems the only version I Could find online were for US versions 1 and 2 and 1.2..... nothing for EU Ver 3
found out from support that the hardware has below specification
Chip scheme ： QCA9533 2.0
DDR：256M

and it works perfect for WA850 1.2 hardware version which now works as Access Point based on WA901nd V3 DD-WRT firmware! running in Brazil. Thanks a lot @KrypteX

E funcionou perfeitamente no WA850 versão 1.2 que agora funciona como Access Point baseado no firmware DD-WRT WA901nd V3! Funcionando no Brasil. Muito Obrigado @KrypteX

SOC: MT7628nn
RAM: winbond w9725g6kb 25 (winbond w9725g6kb 25 - 32mb )
FLASH: 25q32cs (i can do mistake, image is bad, but number 32 looks good, if i understand correctly it means what router have 4mb flash)

I just try to revert the ddwrt to Stock using the webrevert of WA901, in the wa850, but now, my AP just blink all lights at the same time.
I already try to connect using Cable or Wifi, but just doesn't connect.
Already try 15s reset button press, 30s reset button, turn of and press few times the reset button, turn on with reset button pressed.. and always the same thing, any suggest?

This thread is for Unofficial Support of a device that was never sent to the developer. There is no write-up on how to recover this device to stock should things go awry, however I will link the OpenWRT wiki on this device for future reference. As with all devices not currently supported by DD-WRT, this thread will remain for reference, but at this point shall be locked; there should be no expectation of users for any troubleshooting support for firmware issues since this device is not officially supported. Thank you.
NOTE: To add official support, either a hardware donation or router detection information is required (fullflash dump, boot log, and hardware information).
