Hi Guys,

I have a Netgear WNDR3700v4 on default settings.

I'm trying to use the OpenVPN client and it only works plugged in CAT5 to the computer. No local computer can use it over WiFi, only plugged in.

I disabled SPI to see if this might be a firewall issue but that didn't help.

I ssh into the router here's the 'ifconfig' and 'route' inside the router;

ifconfig: http://pastebin.com/EnLBhE48

route: http://pastebin.com/xgg15Z1Q

I'm lost here, I don't get why I can't connect over WiFi.

I also ran ping www.yahoo.com in the router while connected, it did nothing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Smile

THANKS

Hi Sashm everything in the router is Default settings, the only thing I've changed is the SSID name, the time zone, and for the Wireless security I placed it on WPA2 Personal TKIP+AES and added in password.

As far as computer setups, just tried connecting on two laptops, one running Linux and Win7 and the other Win7, and an iPhone 4, none of them can go online WiFi...

Someone told me they think this might be a forwarding issue, because if I connect to the VPN on dd-wrt, then I connect to the VPN in Ubuntu through the NetworkManager going over another vpn server, I can get online.

So like I connect to a UK server on the openvpn client in dd-wrt, then I connect to a DE server in Ubuntu through the NetworkManager, then I'm online...

THANKS

P.S. My time was not correct so it's now correct, let me try this again with the correct time...

Well I can connect now, to be honest not sure what it was, but I do know the firmware is a bit buggy and I think that's all it was getting past some of the issues and just rebooting a few times...

THANKS
