Hi BrainSlayer, I would like to try DD-WRT on CA8-PRO, Ovislink Ap5000 and dual radio Sparklan 7800. Do you have some actual firmware? Thanks

i have a internal firmware for the sparklan device too. will be released soon.

for the ca8-4 pro firmware. it is flashable on a ca8-4 too, but will not work since the ethernet will be dead then. i will work on a solution to make both compatible.

Hi

Supie !!

just let me know when it`s done.

By the way, it looks like 2 of my CA8-pro are bricked,

whats the trick to get them back ?

Does Hairdairymaid works on those too ?

the ca8-4 pro has a tftp recovery embedded. but you need to attach a serial console to trigger it

you need a tftp server and the zImage (which is basicly the original-to-dd-wrt.bin file

rename it to zImage and place it to your tftp server dir. then configure your local ip to 192.168.1.254 (which is the tftp server address required)
within the serial console of the ca8-pro you will be asked for several menu points. so press 2 if asked.
then it will be transfered and flashed new
