VPN Server and Forwarding on ASUS RT_N10+

Hi,

I have had no luck getting the build in VPN to work on this router, so I now configured my computer to accept incoming VPN connections. I cannot telnet 1723 externally even though I have the port forwarded. Any idea on why? Is additional config needed?

I have read and searched everything. followed all wiki's and forums without success. Possibly this router does not support forwarding the protocol needed for PPTP?
