Is there any way of forcing the radio to do not scan channels and start in 40 Mhz mode (HT 40)?

I need to conduct some test at home and I do need to know for sure that the radio in my router is in HT 40 mode.

My router is a TP-Link TL-wr1043ND running DD-WRT v24-sp2 std revision 20119.

Thanks in advance.
Regards

Thanks for your answer.
I just downgraded from r20675.
Either one or the other release I am not able to see the 40 Mhz activated.
Probably something in 2.4 Gzhz spectrum is interfering with the radio chip and activating good neighbour policy.
Just for testing I need to turn off the scan channel function/policy on the radio chip.
Is that possible using telnet comands?

Thaks
Regards

if you upgrade to any vers. of openwrt or gargoyle you can force the noscan feature with these telnet commands, in dd-wrt they have no effect

uci set wireless.radio0.htmode=HT40+
# or: HT40- if using channel 11 with 40Mhz
uci set wireless.radio0.noscan=1
uci commit wireless; wifi

Simply change the toggle from dynamic to turbo. Then it'll stick to 40 MHz.
