I second this request. I'm using 19342 on my RT-N16, and it's locking up at random times, likely when it loses connection to the router it's bridged to next door. I'd like to try the Fractal 20006 build. Guess I'll just try Kong 20575 for now and see how it goes.
But i have a really unstable WLAN. At the beginning at worked ok, but then i had to make some WLAN changes for making it work again (all devices MacBook, iPhone, iPad). And no iam really sad to do this every day. (changing channel or channel witdh)
Which firmware you would recommend? I only need fast and mainly stable WLAN, stable and fast WAN throughput and ssh server. Nothing else..
But i am really confused about the many firmwares: dd-wrt, fractal, brainslayer, and also the describions nv60, nv64.
the .TRX version is just for the initial flashing from the Asus firmware.
after you get DD-WRT on it, use the non device specific version like Mini, Mega or Big. _________________ Please state what make and model router plus the build number and type of DD-WRT you are using. Screen prints and a network diagram can are also helpful. Before you create a new post, use the search function. Chances are your issue has happened to someone else.
How stable is it compared to the original asus firmware? Do your RT-N16 need to be rebooted often?
I only reboot it after applying major OTRW2 updates or after upgrading firmware, in general I leave it run by itself. _________________ 2 times APU2 Opnsense 21.1 with Sensei
2 times RT-AC56U running DD-WRT 45493 (one as Gateway, the other as AP, both bridged with LAN cable)
3 times Asus RT-N16 shelved

I have flashed the kingkong nv32 r22000(2 weeks ago) and i would say this is the best build i ever have tested on this router _________________ My router: TP-Link Archer C7
I tried adding a vlan to a port that I wasn't even connected to and it messed up the entire router.
Thanks.
30/30/30 should recover your router, if it is due to wrong settings. I now use Kong 22200M but if you have problems with it, choose 21661M. _________________ 2 times APU2 Opnsense 21.1 with Sensei

I flashed the fractal build of 20006 yesterday and so far am very pleased with it. The wireless signal and performance is quite a bit better. Thank you for the suggestion.
Hi gpzbc
Also looking for Fractal 20006 for an RT-N16. Would you (or anyone else) have a copy of this file?
dd-wrt.v24-20006_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega.bin
Older builds don't seem to be available on the basmaf ftp site and the barrymore ftp site doesn't respond.

I am a newbie and I have read from the wiki page mentioned that there are nvram issues with using uPnP, is this problem resolved in the recent builds mentioned in this thread?
I had internet connection problem with KingKong 22000... now, I am trying 22200, it seems to be fine so far.
I am leaving the country for a while and I need to have a stable router that I can access my NAS remotely as well as keeping my parents happy so that they wouldn't have issues with internet and their VoIP phone. I really hope that the 22200 build can keep running by itself without any manual maintenance, since my parents have no idea how to deal with technology...
I went to http://desipro.de/ddwrt and can find r22200 (Kong). However, insider the folder, there are many different files. Could anyone kind enough to tell me which one is for RT-N16? Can my RT-N16 run on nv64 builds?
