WRT54GL ref =CL7B compatible ??

Hello,

I bought the WRT54GL , its reference is CL7B instead of the CL7A
with which dd-wrt is compatible,

do you know if this version works with dd-wrt ?
Is there any special steps to install dd-wrt with this WRT54GL ?
Is it unsecure or as secure as upgrading with an official firmware ?

CL7B ist the revision 1.1 of the GL, it WILL work.

nevertheless, I heard on the wiki that
I need to flash at first the mini version of dd-wrt
then the std version because of lmited flash capacity of
linksys official firmware , is that correct ?

which version of dd-wrt works ? v22, v23 ?

the dd-wrt.v23 SP1 seems to support the WRT54GL V1.1
accoriding to the "hwsupport.txt" file :

1.) DD-WRT supported/tested router hardware versions
Router: Serial Number prefixes:
....
Linksys WRT54GL 1.0 CL7Axxx
Linksys WRT54GL 1.1 CL7Bxxx

is there any other reason to use the unstable version to which
points your link ?
