I'm pretty annoyed with the interface querying problems with the 2.6 kernel in the latest build and need to finish setting up media streaming to my Xbox. I got MediaTomb to run but apparently it's not compatible with Xbox 360. I have an E3000.

Anyway, my question is how do I flash to a previous build where this works? I read that when upgrading I should flash nv60k builds but what about downgrading?

Also, how can I do a complete image backup? If this doesn't work, I want to be able to go back to where I was with Samba setup and everything.

Thanks in advance

For downgrading to e2k-e3k, flash a trailed build first, and then flash the build you want.

For backing up your system use:

cd /mnt
tar cvf opt.tar /opt

or

cd /mnt
tar cvf folder1.tar /mnt/folder1
