For two days now I've tried different approaches in trying to make the eoc-1650 work as a repeater (to extend my linksys wireless range) for my network but nothing works.

Situation:

Code:
dsl-->linksys wireless <%--500m--%> eoc-1650 <%-- camera

wired connection: -->
wireless connection: --%>

Can someone point me to right direction on how to make this happen or is this not possible at all?

I do have looked the wiki and tried for example http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Repeater. The problem is that eoc-1650 does not have "repeater" -option in the network mode section. I made it connect my linkys AP and made a virtual AP where I would then connect my camera to but for some reason the virtual AP drops after I've connected to it.

I have never been able to connect to internet with any of the setups either.

Network setup:
DSL has internet and has DHCP server which makes NAT 192.168.2.100 addresses. Linkys wireless is AP which just forwards every connection to my dsl which gives IP's.

I forgot to mention I'm running build 14896 which was the 1st on the list. I tried also the "recommended". I guess I should not try the last stable release?

I really don't understand this behaviour: I've now tried 4 different firmwares and with all of them I can set my primary wireless connection on the eoc-1650 as client to my linksys AP and then create the virtual AP but the virtual AP always dissapears after being 3 - 5 minutes up?? Sometimes I can connect to it but usually not. Connectiont (ping or other stuff) does not seem to work either when connected that brief moment into that virtual AP.

Any ideas?
