Is it really true that there is no change process for development on DD-WRT? Who actually has access to the DD-WRT code base? This guy 'brainslayer' seems very active. Is there someone responsible for the state of DD-WRT? Is there a roadmap?

Hello,
Anyone tried the latest build r37442??
I'm about to install DD-WRT on my WDR4300 but I don't know if that build is good.
Thanks in advance.
Look in the new build threads.
I did, and no one with a WDR4300 made a report in a while. On this 37442 someone has a WDR3600 which I think it's almost our model but with 2 antennas. Internally it's almost the same. That's a good sign right? _________________ Sorry for my English. I just want to learn.

Yes. _________________ I am far from a guru, I'm barely a novice.
I am running DD-WRT v3.0-r37305 std (10/10/1 on my TP-Link TL-WDR4300 v1 for past 2 weeks and so far no issues. 5G and 2.4G, NAT, DDNS, PPPoE everything is working fine. I did not managed to have IP v6 running, but I don't think it is because of DD-WRT.
I tried to install it as you mentioned and it works OK (37305).

I had a brick after I mistakenly upgraded it with 941 firmware, and after that it does not part TFTP on my 4300, but just pay attention to the message ... I changed with the hexadecimal editor the wdr4300v1_tp_recovery header;
I bricked my tp-link wdr4300 when flashing the latest dd-wrt firmware (v3.0 [Beta] Build: 37305)
response: upload error
recovery/rescue unbrick without a serial connection via tftp32 4.50 or tftp64 v4.62 does not work. I tried to upload the firmware version TL-WDR4300_V1_150518, TL-WDR4300_V1_150302 and TL-WDR4300_V1_141113, but the upload of wdr4300v1_tp_recovery.bin does not start.
Are there any other solutions how to unbrick the device without brazing on a serial connection?
