Hi guys, i understand u must have your hands full atm but i figure i best run this up the flag pole now and see what happens.

I have just swapped a site over to sputnik from mesh which has left me with a bunch of Picostation 2HP's which i have now working with the standard supported flash 13064..

Two problems..

I want to use the latest real beta releases but from 14000 - latest release WDS is broken and will not work.

If i configure a pico for wds in the latest flash it will not connect to another pico with same flash. If i then flash it to 13064 with the same setting .. all working Good..

I can't use 13064 as sputnik version for this release is very buggy..

Any suggestion would be appreciated.. If you require screenshots of config will upload.. but i have the same config used in about 100 other routers Smile

Kind Regards

James

Flash back to 13064 all good

the weird thing is under status - wireless the connection is active with link percentage.

To recreate this issue you will need 2 x picostation2HP radios with
FCC ID: SWX-B2 / IC ID: 6545A-B2

This is the most basic WDS confg i can imagine.

Step1: Tftp flash both radios to 19342

Step2: Activate

Step3: Configure Setup-Basic Setup like so
Radio1
https://www.dropbox.com/s/43qcd27ex74odc6/WDS%20Test%201%20-%20DDWRT%20Setup-Basic%20Setup.jpg
Radio2
https://www.dropbox.com/s/b21zlpg8y3y8ve8/WDS%20Test%202%20-%20DDWRT%20Setup-Basic%20Setup.jpg

Step4: Configure Wireless like so
Radio1

Radio2
https://www.dropbox.com/s/l9xil2zsn98f8uc/WDS%20Test%202%20-%20DDWRT%20Wireless-Basic%20Settings.jpg

Step5: No Wireless security
Radio1

Radio2
https://www.dropbox.com/s/2nwucw6rearfo0v/WDS%20Test%202%20-%20DDWRT%20Wireless-Wireless%20Security.jpg

Step6: Configure MAC's for WDS
Radio1
https://www.dropbox.com/s/0dc6swjef8xjb5r/WDS%20Test%201%20-%20DDWRT%20Wireless-WDS.jpg
Radio2
https://www.dropbox.com/s/e508eloevk1ziuh/WDS%20Test%202%20-%20DDWRT%20Wireless-WDS.jpg

Step7: We should now have a connection between each radio..but ..when connecting to radio1 we cannot ping radio2 and no wds connection on the DDWRT status page.

Step8: Flash Radios via web flash back to 13064

Step9: WDS connection now working and able to ping radios. As you can see active wds connection on status page.
