After having a long healthy relationship with the Old Linksys Routers I had moved up to a Belkin F7D3302 for the USB option. One of my Units is up and running with DD-WRT and doing quite well BUT my other unit flashed perfect but when I restored a Settings Config file things got messy. No Ping and no light. I figured the Unit couldn't have died so I searched though your forums and bought the DKU-5 cable and setup my connection. Attached is the message that constantly scrolls. It's stuck, in a loop whatever. Ctrl-C will not break this condition UNLESS... I was wondering if the setup using Putty was correct with regards to echoing Ctrl-C. Should I see the command in the Terminal Window? Is there any other way to get to the CFE prompt?

Thanks,

SIN

Maybe you are not passing the Ctrl+C, but it may be the cable as well, or maybe you are not connecting it right.
Have you tested the cable by a simple loop?
Did you measure the voltage in the router to check which pad is TxD and RxD?

Or perhaps the problem is beyond recover...
