I am using my old Linksys WRT160NL as wireless acesspoint/switch. After uppgrading to V3 (several builds since 40559, right now 42174), the router locks up at least once daily with blinking power LED.
Is there any stable version 24 SP1, I wasn't able to locate it on the servers.

What version were you running before upgrading? Did you reset (`nvram erase && reboot` from telnet) and manually set up after upgrading? I would otherwise suspect failing capacitors in a device of that era and age.

Otherwise, try 27858, 33555, and 33772.

I guess I used build 37305 (found that in my firmware folder). Because I used another setup as accesspoint with a guest WLAN i decided to try a new firmware. Did the nvram erase by 30/30/30 reset, rebooted and sid all settings manually.

BTW: Found lots of builds in the "stable" folder on the ftp, for example for the 160N, but not for the WRT160NL.

Ah, missed the 'NL' part...you're in the wrong forum as that is Atheros. Can a mod move this thread?

Lol...you mean the ones from 12+ years ago? 'stable' just means 'crazy old and insecure'...plus I think DD didn't even support Atheros at all back then. As can be seen in the Supported Devices wiki, support for the WRT160NL was added with build 13977 (20100224).

Did you not have the lockup issue with 37305? Have you enabled syslog and compared against the older (working?) build?

Unfortunately, I never logged. Will try it now. I didn't have these issues before, but had another configuration.
