I have a problem with BWMon. Somehow, the total download and upload get reset. I didn't exactly see the data were set to zero. But the amount was in GB yesterday could be in hundreds of MB in the next morning. Is it a bug or I didn't interpret the meaning corretly? Also the download/upload rate jump a lot, sometimes they are way above the line rate. Any idea?

The router is E4200 running 19342 Mega.

Thanks.

I had it once that counters were reset without any indication.
This shouldn't happen but I couldn't replicate the failure.
Is there a difference between live and total traffic?

About the up/down load I noticed it too but only from time to time.
I did not write the script for the data collection.

Currently working on conntrack which need my attention.
Will look into it when it's finished.

Prep script consist of 2 parts:

1. install uclib-opt and ipkg-opt.
2. Install the additional scrips and packages via ipkg-opt

This failure is related to the first part.

I see a input/output failure after it executes ldconfig.
This is probably due to failure with your usb device.

Im starting to expect your usb drive is broken.
You could try to format and recreate partitions.

This can also explain the mounting issues, if the same device was used.

Please run the install script with logging next time:
Code:
sh /tmp/prep_optware > /tmp/install_log

The first tests i did was using a 2gig USB thumb drive, i did this last test with a USB 150gig hard drive, both devices have no problems working on my computers, and both drives pass an integrity disk test, so i'm not sure about that. I will however run the test again with logging and report back.

Re-tried using same build and different drive, it gets stuck right after this now.

Connecting to ipkg.nslu2-linux.org (140.211.169.161:80)
coreutils_8.4-1_mips 100% |*********************************************************************************************| 2728k 0:00:00 ETA

And it sat there for over 20 mins, after which it auto closed my login to the terminal, so needless to say, there is no log in /tmp to look at. But i'm going to continue to test throughout the day, so i will report back with hopefully good results.

I did a fresh install on my E3200. running 19342 K26 mega
I took multiple runs before install was successful.

Have the feeling its also a time-out problem with nslu2 source.
I also saw a pending download state and then it failed.

I also checked my server logs for errors and there are none.
After the last file you retrieved from my server the next step would installation of busybox

My current install on the 3200 seems to be working fine.
Tomorrow i will continue testing.

I will probably receive a WRT610v1 tomorrow which allows me to test K24 kernel SmileSmile
Which I should mention is a donation by PetervdM
Many thanks

Most excellent and will probably be alot better to test on than this wl520gu.

But i did re-run install, and it went clean, i rebooted the unit, and optware appears to be installed, only one problem i see now, no more mypage installed.

Perhaps so, but i do not see it on the webgui status and its not in the optware install partition, i just searched thru that with scp and couldn't find it. I will re-run the script and try this once more.
