I'm not running this router in service and I am using the stock asus firmware to play. currently, xx~.155 beta is on it which has 64k nvram enabled but it is a kernel hack. Asus is supposed to be working on a cfe mod for us dd-wrt users.

I can't put it into service without dd-wrt because I can't live without optware (pixelserv & a couple of other packages) running.

I asked in another thread what size / class of sd card (micro sd) the router would accept (no answers Twisted Evil ). I had a 4gb card installed.. Today I was in wal-mart to buy oil for one of my cars that is due for an oil change. They had 32gb sd cards on sale.

I formatted the card (ext2), installed it and the router sees the card.. all of it.. So, we now know it will accept and read a 32 gb card.

You gotta be careful in regards to sd cards. Not all equipment will read all the cards depending on the class and size of the card.

@barryware: now that a few months have gone by: did the 32GB SD card (what class?) pan out and were you able to install OTRW? I've recently flashed Tomatoe on my router, with the hope that I can install OTRW. I run Asterisk on my routers along with the standard OTRW packages.

Hopefully dd-wrt will solve the NVRAM issue sooner than later.

a 32gb class 4 micro sd card works fine.

I have played and been able to mount it under dd-wrt.

I do not have the router in service and have not attempted to install optware but it should be no problem as I had it mounted to /opt

optware does not install to this router.

Not sure about microsd, however USB drives formatted with ext2 or ext3 fall off almost immediately after being written to.

Check SVN #2580

This doesn't happen only with Optware, but with writing any type of file.
