Hi all!
I have recently tried to update my Buffalo WZR-D1800H with firmware 09-27-2017-r33413 and 09-19-2017-r33375 and, in both tries, I got a pretty bricked router (recoverable through serial) and could install version r31825 again.
The question is, has anyone tried a patched KRACKs version of dd-wrt in this router ? I would not like to get a bricked router again.

At least the WLI-H4-D1300 (nearly the same as the D1800) works with
v3.0-r33525 giga (10/17/17)/Linux 3.10.107 #16308 Tue Oct 17 10:27:13 CEST 2017 mips
in plain CB-mode, no fancy stuff.
Previous was
v3.0-r33492 giga (10/10/17)/Linux 3.10.107 #16248 Tue Oct 10 14:12:29 CEST 2017 mips
Never tried r33413 nor r33375 because several models got bricked at that time.
Usual precautions apply:
-d/l updates twice using 2 different ways and compare checksums, to avoid flashing bad images
-I'm using the InternetExplorer always, Firefox failed few times in past (didn't try again yet)
-ensure router is working properly
-use LAN, avoid WiFi
-and remember: DD-WRT is beta. All is on your own risk.
Go ahead, no risk, no fun.
BTW, KRACK is not completely fixed in r33525. _________________ 3xBuffalo WLI-H4-D1300

Dear Kooper2013,
Which build ddwrt is the best stable and best performance for Buffalo D1300/D1800? Could you give me some advice

This probably depends on what you do.
As client bridge r33525 works well, that's all I can say. _________________ 3xBuffalo WLI-H4-D1300

Did you do hard reset 30/30/30 on D1300 on build r33525? When I upgraded my D1300 completely, I could use it normally, after that I did hard reset it, it was bricked. I must downgrade my D1300 to lower build, then I can do hard reset normally
could someone tell me recently BS stable build with krack fix?
Last build that works with tftp flashing on my WLI-H4-D1300 is r32170. I had problems with all other builds after. Sometimes router worked for a while after web upgrading from r32170 to newer one without resetting to default. After hard reset I coudn't connect to wifi (blinking wifi led), router doesn't boot or bootloop (solid or blinking red led).
Could someone share an image of CFE for Buffalo WZR-D1800H?
I accidentally bricked my router (CFE doesn't start now, no chance to use tftp anymore).
I imagine jTag is available on connector J4. Does anybody know the pinout of this connector? (I haven't found it on the web).
Does anybody succeed to unbrick the router via jTag?

Hey guys, I am trying to upgrace my D1800H from my old v24 to r33525 but the upgrade is not taking. I select the .bin file and then it says it's upgrading but shortly after the status window reappears but with the old firmware version listed. Are there intermediary step upgrades I need to do?

UPDATE!!!
Guys I figured out how to upgrade my old Buffalo WZR-D1800H which had Kong v24-sp2 25015M-SP1. Here is the key....bin file upgrades did NOT work.... trx files DID!
I downloaded new trx firmware files from the DD-WRT FTP site. Instead of jumping from 25015 directly to the latest r37932. I did a step-up upgrade and it work perfectly. Here are the versions installed in the order below and remember to download the trx files.
