I got a bad flash on my WZR-D1800H. I tried using PumkinTFTP, and when pressing the AOSS button it triggers Pumpkin and ask for “firmware.ram”. I tried the latest firmware from DD-WRT & from Buffalo’s website; renamed them to “firmware.ram”. It won’t take it.
I don’t have a serial adapter. Guess my question is, if it really wroth getting a serial adapter kit? if so which one? Is there another alternative way to de-brick? Or am I better off now just trash this thing? _________________ ASUS RT-AC3200 - Deployed Client's site

Once I turn it on (to help with an Obihai adapter for VOIP, which works great, voice quality is great), my overall bandwidth is cut but about half on the download side.
I set the QoS downlink to 0, uplink to 12000 (my actual upload is ~14mbps).
WIFI is broken in the last 3 commits on the Broadcom SoC. Might be fixed with TODAY's commit _________________ ASUS RT-AC3200 - Deployed Client's site

Thanks for the info mb! I'll try 28054 and see if that fixes the issue. It's horrible having these disconnections all the time, I'm working from home on the company's VPN, and it's messing up the apps I'm using.
I'm running 2 D1800H's in repeater bridge mode on wl0, router1 has wl1 disabled, router 2 has wl1 serving the house on 2.4GHz N-Only.
How the current build of dd-wrt on the d1800h? Is wifi working currently? Is the lamp wifi working, e.g. does it blink when data is being transfered? For the last many build the lamp is just on all the time on my unit with dd-wrt. Is was working correctly on these builds
Still trying to figure out a stable build that doesn't break repeater bridge or QoS.
I'm currently trying r29048 but wireless on the repeater stops working, wl0 loses connection to router #1, and can't connect to wl1 N/G mixed 2.4GHz.
I'm also experiencing random disconnections on wireless clients, various different hardware (Dell, Thinkpad), all have Intel cards, as well as various cellphones, HTC and Samsung.
Wired to repeater rounter (#2), I'm getting 30MB/s transfers.
How do you guys back up settings before flashing new builds? It's such a hassle configuring from scratch every time (2 routers, QoS, port forward, openvpn, etc...).
