The link above says flash -noheader : flash1.trx.

Been doing some reading. People were asking about NewD vs OldD. OldD seems to be better. NewD doesn't support changing the tx power, read http://tips.desipro.de/2014/02/12/wireless-starters-guide-for-first-time-dd-wrt-users/ look for txpwr.

Hi There,

New here so may have missed this being asked already. I have just upgraded the firmware on my WZR-d1800H to the DD-WRT but need to restore the Buffalo firmware as may be sending device back but when I try to use the upgrade firmware option is does not work.

can anyone help

Look back through the thread. User Magnetron 1.1 uploaded a firmware to flash to rever back to stock.

New KONG build 25015 http://desipro.de/ddwrt/K3-AC/ uploaded on the 17th. I have not tested yet however, it looks like there is only one build not newd and oldd.

I own a Buffalo D1100h and lately, its nand flash has some bad blocks that cause me unable to flash any firmware on. I tried many firmwares (including stock 1.96) but still, it failed to work.
I wanna buy new Samsung nand flash k9F1G to replace broken one but it is quite hard to buy in my country.
So my question is:
- Is it possible to get nand flash from USB stick, then use it on D1100H? if it is possible, what should I do next to make CFE works with new nand ?
- Is it possible to use JTAG, correcting errors in samsung K9F1G nand flash ?
- Any possible work around ?

I have tested this version and seems that works without problem... except with an old laptop, that can not connect to Internet. With version 24200 and OLD driver, works ok.

Hey, I just flashed the new version today as well. It looks like they fixed the txpower issues with the drivers. I have my txpower set to 710 and no issues of course I didn't do a factory reset after flashing. The router seems stable and the web interface runs faster with this build.

Hello,
may somone of you know why i have this problem:
I have some performence problems with newer FWs. I use the Kong AC Builds and have the following resaults:

K3-AC/23900 -> 100 Mbit no problem
K3-AC/24200 -> only ~ 70 Mbit (same config)
K3-AC/25015 -> only ~ 70 Mbit (same config)

K3-AC/25015 -> After Factory reset -> 90 mbit
K3-AC/25015 -> new configuration (no backup) -> 70 Mbit

back to K3-AC/23900 -> Same config 100 Mbit

All tests with the NEWD Builds.
Latest 06-23-2014-r24461 -> 70 Mbit :/

K3-AC/25015 -> overclock 650 MHZ -> 70 Mbit

I too have noticed that the wifi is limited to 70Mbits. I think that it may have to do with using the auto settings on channel width but I have not tested. Try setting them to the highest setting instead of auto.
