Ok.. just for argument sake.. Here.. I changed it to Channel 3 still @ 40mhz
Then Apply Setting follow by a complete reboot
Look for yourself... you guys make it sound like I am nutz but here are the proof
Here is the inSSIDer:
Yes, that looks fine to me.
InSSIDers should show channel 3 + channel 1 occupied when you have a 40MHz connection and should show only channel 3 when you have a 20MHz connection.
If it does, then the Status/Wireless page just displays wrong. _________________ Kernel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler!
ok, it looks like 2.4GHz channel selection is knackered.
There aren't many D-1800 users around here who could confirm or refute your claims so that's why we need to be sure that you haven't done any error in the config.
If you have not done it before, then reboot the router with these settings to see if a reboot is needed for the channel selection to become correct.
Make sure that you have Save'd the settings before reboot, not only Apply. _________________ Kernel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler!

okay. the originally written channel selection wasnt included in that build for an unknown reason. i will test now the correct code and will place it here _________________ "So you tried to use the computer and it started smoking? Okay, I can confirm that 802.11ac does work in bridge mode, however some settings especially those related to channel changes or moving between Mixed and N-Only appear to get stuck and require a reboot to actually apply to the interface.
At present, I am using BrainSlayer's proposed settings of:
I have built a 3-node bridge between three WZR-D1800H devices in a tree configuration.

For what it is worth, I have noticed a possible bug with regards to FreeRadius support in this build. Namely certificate generation hangs at 0%. Have left on two WZR-D1800H devices over night with no change.

80 mhz works and i fixed 40 mhz support too now. (the same for the broken channel selection)
regarding freeradius support. on first run certificate generation will not hang at 0%, but it takes a very long time until the big number table is generated. under some conditions this can take up to 10 minutes sometimes. but this will only happen one time since its then stored on the jffs space forever (unless you delete it).
i will upload a new build in some minutes here which as been tested with 40 mhz. _________________ "So you tried to use the computer and it started smoking? Sounds like a Mac to me.." - Louis Rossmann https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eL_5YDRWqGE&t=60s

build redo. there was a typo within the channel selection (nothing critical) but some channels shown arent allowed for ht40. same for ht80. this new build correct it and shows only valid channels depending on the ht and side band selection
Now I can continue setting up the rest of the stuff. Will report back if I find anything else.
Just out of curiosity and not a big deal. Does Wizviz ever going to get fixed?
I can't seems to get anything to show up on the WZR-D1800H or on the WNDR3400. And I have read it's been broken on other routers too. Just wanted to know the story. Thanks

It is working correctly here, channel selection does not get stuck.. I am now connected at 450 mb/s wifi with centrino E6300 wifi card in laptop...
I will run some performance tests over wifi on my gig-E lan to NAS drive and see how it performs.. So far good speeds and good signal strength.

Have achieved 450Mbps tx/rx connections speeds on the 5Ghz band between a Linksys E4200 configured as a Repeater Bridge using Big Build 19342 and the Buffalo WZR-D1800H using Giga Build 19354.
