That seemed to work fine, but whenever I try to apply more recent versions, the such as 16785, it doesn't upgrade. I specify the file, push the "upgrade" button, and the router starts counting down from 300 seconds like it is GOING to do the upgrade.
Unfortunately only a few seconds pass, I get a web page connection reset, and when re-starting the web console interface, it is still on the old version.
The part at the top of this forum where it says to read the forum announcements prior to posting, and when your post was deleted from the general section, the part in the why was my post deleted thread, where it says to read the broadcom forum announcements....that is what you are doing wrong. _________________ SIG:

Thanks, yes it turned out to be the FireFox issues. I apologize for being old and forgetting things. I actually saw that very note in one of the 10 YouTube videos I watched before embarking on this journey.
The whole "brick your router5" scared the crap outta me so yes I did read quite a bit before doing this, it's just at 55, the brain doesn't retain things quite so well any more...
My humblest apologies for being a w@nker, I believe I am on to bigger and better things now. The increased signal strength, along with the 2 new external antennas I modded in will help immensely!!!
