Hi,
i would like to ask an information:
why on atheros board there isn't the opportunity to schedule wifi?
I used it on broadcom board for some years and i think that is a very important feature!

Thanks you so much for your great job!

It is possible to schedule the wifi using the Cron service. You need to add something like this:

30 08 * * * root /sbin/ifconfig ath0 down; iwconfig ath0 txpower off
00 18 * * * root /sbin/ifconfig ath0 up

I use this script on the Buffalo WZR-600DHP and it shuts off the radio on both 2.4 and 5GHz at set time and turns it back on but no device can connect to it after until I reboot the router

30 02 * * * root /sbin/ifconfig ath0 down
30 02 * * * root /sbin/ifconfig ath1 down
00 09 * * * root /sbin/ifconfig ath0 up
00 09 * * * root /sbin/ifconfig ath1 up

any suggestions?

I just scheduled a reboot a minute after I bring wifi radios on; hopefully that'll take care of things.
