So, this is a brand new router from ASUS, for now exclusive to the Chinese market but easily obtainable through Gearbest, Aliexpress, etc...
Very good hardware, it packs a Mediatek MT7621AT, just like a lot of already supported devices, like the DIR-860L and other ASUS routers!
Does anyone knows with there's any development being done for this router?

Do not use the router database. Look here http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Supported_Devices _________________ I am far from a guru, I'm barely a novice.

I only see AC1200G+ but that's a totally different hardware...
Let's see... It's a pretty nice hardware... should work beautifully with DD-WRT... |

Exactly. If it's not listed in the list I linked to, it's not supported. _________________ I am far from a guru, I'm barely a novice. |

is it possible you could paste the entire bootlog? maybe you can't, but figured i'd ask since i was debating the purchase of one.
thanks. |
I'd be happy to do that... I just don't know how to do it...
This router is pretty much identical to Dlink DIR-860 so I'd assume that a DD-WRT version for it wouldn't be that difficult to port. |
