To use IPTV on a router you need to play a lot with vlans and iptables.

Why not just add this feature to the dd wrt build to make it by default to work nice.

the reason for why you have to do vlans and iptable configs is because the 4 LAN ports does not appear as 4 different ports unless you split them up in the switch into different vlan's.

IGMP snooping and IGMP forwarding in a router with a LAN switch has to be done in the switch hardware.

actually i'm quite happy with original firmware then. because it does this igmp snooping tricks and multicast (iptv) works well without any additional configuration.

fill only one port and keep others && wifi not loaded.

i'm amusing you are wrong.

IGMP snooping is used to find out on which ports there is an IGMP subscriber and only send IGMP traffic to that/those ports.

For what reason would you do IGMP snooping if you only use one port?
