hello all i bought wnr2000.the version is not written on it.i tried flashing using v2 and v3 firmware to upgrade. i followed instructions of peacock.when i do 30/30/30 i get power light turned green and flashing but when i choose file either v2 or wnr2000v3-factory_WW i get error
please assign the correct file(the file format is "*.img".).
i read forums some people are having same problem.woundering if some one had figured out way of doing it.please do share.thanks in advance
i tried reset it for 1 minute.now power light is green and flashing.but i cant access router trouh web gui.
i unpluged and repluged ten i got back in router.but when i select dd-wrt.v24-14536_NEWD_K2.6_mini-WNR2000v2.chk ie same error

Don't flash your router on chance until you know what hardware version you have!!!
The version number is listed on the routers label and if there is no version number then it is a v1 (think of it and you may understand why it is so).
There is also a FCC ID number on the label and you can check that against the dd-wrt wiki Supported Devices page or the Known Incompatible Devices page. _________________ Kernel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler!
