Hi,

I have a linksys WRT160n flashed with dd-wrt and I need to get it working as a router. I was previously using it as a repeater but I no longer need it as a repeater but for it to function as a normal router would. I tried fooling around myself, but when I try to connect wirelessly it fails, I can see the router, and security works, but trying to connect to it doesnt work. I couldnt find anything in the search, and there is nothing in the wiki, that I could find anyways.

So could someone please help with setting it up as a regular router?

Thanks, and sorry if I missed a tutorial/wiki page.

Reset to defaults and it will work. Then as you start changing things you will find your snag.

maybe its the firmware build. There was a bad build near the beginning of june where some repoted that the WAN port didnt work at all on sone routers. try a different build, newer ofr older.

First, post what build you are using now before trying a different build.
