I am trying to enable logging on my dd-wrt, however the save button on the services/services page doesnt work.

Is there a way to do it via command line?

Try the following. Make a backup of your setting first in case there are any issues.

Code:
nvram set log_enable=1
nvram set log_level=2
nvram set log_dropped=1
nvram set log_rejected=1
nvram set log_accepted=1
nvram commit
reboot

Try...

Code:

nvram set syslogd_enable=1
nvram set syslogd_rem_ip=Remote IP Address
nvram commit
reboot
