after the flash (and nvram reset), the WLAN died (the light is off too). now it is officially a working brick for me :)
my fonera can pick up a ip from my DHCP server through the ethernet port,
but i cannot access it from `fonera_ip`:8080
any idea to save my fonera?
thanks.
Umm kinda had the same thing happen. Is there a bug in the firmware or something? I flashed via web interface as I've always done, and the only thing on is the power light. Oi.

Update on this, I plugged the fon into my switch, checked client list and got the ip of the fon... accessed the fon via web interface and reflashed with previous working firmware.
While I was in there and bumming around I noticed that there aren't any wireless settings at all. Is this a goof up on my part or did I miss something all together?

0414 flashed fine for me, but 0414_2 caused the router to be non-responsive
This is accurate. I flashed with 0414_2 by accident and messed up the fonera. It is fixable, but you have to go back to the original install method! As per the wiki:

Yeah the 0414 works fine for me, no problems there again i'm not using client mode or anything. The 0414_2 lacks the wireless settings all together. I just curious though if 0414_2 was intended to be without wireless settings?
By the way my method of repair was pretty simple, I just plugged it up to my router, used my working router to get the fon's ip address and accessed it via port 8080. (IE: 192.168.2.4:8080), logged in, reflashed with 0414 firmware and it worked fine. No harm no foul. :)
Someone said that the 0414 was broken, what exactly wasn't working for them?
04_15 isnt working for me. Cant access the router at all. Wont DHCP an IP from my main router, cant connect to it by cable direct from my PC either, ie Telnet on port 9000 isnt working.
Anyone any ideas?? (Dont have a serial cable!!)
