Hi, sorry to be dumb but is the only to flash this thing by pulling it apart and attaching serial cable to board?

Tried to flash dd-wrt to my Engenius esr-9752 last night via tftp. Got a bad checksum message & kernel panic when using Vista/putty/tftpd32, unit reverted to stock firmware.

Tried again with XP/hyperterm/tftpd32, no bad checksum message, but unit still reported kernel panic & reverted to stock firmware.

I'm using the Senao-ESR9752SC firmware.bin image.

Anyone managed to successfully flash this router to dd-wrt? How did you do it & which image did you use? Thanks.

Update to my last post: bad checksum report not consistent. Managed to flash without errors, but router still reports kernel panic. I've attached output below.
